BG of Cash Money Millionaires invented the phrase "Bling, Bling" to refer to expensive jewelry. William Safire comments that although "Bling, Bling" came to refer to anything "glitzy," including clothing, it is now out-of-style. Ostentation is out, sexy, cute, pretty, flirty and girly are in.
